DRiV VALUES ON DISPLAY AS LAKE FOREST TEAM VOLUNTEERS AT FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN

Over the course of the last month, nearly 70 DRiV™ team members from Lake Forest volunteered their time packing meals at Feed My Starving Children – a non-profit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.

Representatives from HR, Global Communications, the Law Department, IT and Global Supply Chain each took turns visiting the FMSC location in nearby Libertyville and packing meals in two-hour shifts.  Combined, the DRiV team managed to pack more than 200 boxes of food containing more than 35,000 meals which will feed more than 100 kids for a year.

“I am so proud of the way our Lake Forest team has come together for this great cause,” said Kaled Awada, DRiV’s chief human resources officer.  “Our DRiV values of One Team and Make Tomorrow Better were on full display as we were packing the meals.  As we continue to grow as a company, I look forward to our Lake Forest team – and our teams around the world – being big contributors to their local communities.”

Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children food reaches children and families in more than 70 countries. The organization continues with donor funding and devotes more than 90 percent of total donations directly to feeding people.
