Brandon Smith is Tenneco’s senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, responsible for managing the company’s global legal affairs, including corporate governance and compliance. When DRiV separates from Tenneco, Smith is expected to serve in the same position with DRiV™, pending completion of all required steps and related board approvals.
Prior to being named to his current position in February 2018, Smith served as vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary of the company since 2014. He also served as assistant general counsel from 2011 to 2014 and senior corporate counsel prior to that.
Smith joined Tenneco in 2008 as corporate counsel. Before joining Tenneco, he was a corporate attorney with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, representing both public and private enterprises on a wide variety of corporate engagements.
Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Hiram College and a J.D. from Cornell University Law School.
